About the event

“Outside with Pride” is a nature walk on queer ecologies. This event will explore the nonheteronormative and non-cisnormative animals, plants, and fungi that inhabit our ecosystems. From transsexual deer to lesbian seagulls, we’ll talk about “biological exuberance,” as Bruce Bagemihl famously put it, and all its fabulous forms, then we’ll take a walk to look for examples of pride… outside!

Location TBD but will likely be Walden-Parke Preserve in Bangor

Event is free and open to the public, but pre-registration is required. For more information or to register, please email: info@bangorlandtrust.org or visit the Bangor Pride website.

Please prepare to be outdoors, rain or shine, and bring proper footwear.
